Mother May I
I barely closed my eyes and it's May 3rd! I should be telling you about amazing five star restaurants that I have visited here in Chicago, because there are so many great chefs in the windy city. I am discovering that I am a creature of habit. I will blame it on the real estate and promise to up my game. OMG! The real estate leasing market has been wonderfully busy. I have to tell you about the Edgewater neighborhood here in Chicago. These highrise buildings up and down Sheridan Road from Hollywood to Loyola University. Doormen, swimming pools, gyms! You can find some real gems with stunning lake views. I was really impressed with how beautiful these apartments are, with private balconies over looking our majestic Lake Michigan. Really worth your time to have a tour. 2bdrm 2bth under $1800!!

NOT TO BIZY TO EAT
Did you think I stopped eating? Been super busy, but not too bizy to eat.. Lets start with Glenn's Diner. First off they serve breakfast all day, so you can sleep in as late as you want. I was there for lunch and had a mixed green salad with blue cheese and candied walnuts. This salad was soo delicious I actually took the leftovers home, something I rarely do, but I was glad I did because it was just as tasty five hours later. I have to hand it to our waiter, Gary. He was amazing to watch, so cheerful and professional, I mean the boy was working that room. He was seating people, cleaning tables, making drinks etc.. and smiling!! Seriously he should open his own restaurant and run it. Glenn's Diner is right off the Montrose brown line stop across the street from Margie's Candy. "It just keeps getting better."

Local Pubs & Grub
Chili & Sloppy Joes at Daily Bar & Grill Lincoln Square. My local neighborhood restaurant. Comfort food in comfortable setting. Practically live there. What more could a girl ask for? PBR and paper napkins, "itz all good."
Itz All Greek 2 Me..
More Greek food tonight. Dinner at Barba Yanni in Lincoln Square. Romantic, great food, super sweet staff. Family owned, you must meet Innis the Greek God owner/ manager. He looks like he could be Mario Lopez twin brother. Wed nights they have tango dancing. Outside patio like Isle of Greece...
Soul mates & Flat mates..
"Finding the right apartment is like finding a soul mate.. You just know when it is right."
Today I got a call from a friend of my client Ben. He was stressing over a apartment that he agreed to rent. He said he felt pressured into taking the apartment, even though he knew it was not right for him. He said the bedroom didn't even have a closet. This happens all the time. It happened to me and I vowed it would never happen again, I got my real estate license. If you are ever in the market and need help feel free to email me.. Good luck out there

Greek Fries
You must try the Greek fries at the Anthenian Room 807 W Webster in Lincoln Park. I used to go to the Anthenian Room twenty years ago and hang out next door at Glasscotts. I was there tonight and the Greek fries are still to die for. They are dripping in their red wine with lemon sauce. We ate like kings or Artemus & Aphrodite while watching the Chicago Black Hawks on big screens at Glasscotts for less then $50 dollars. "Great meal!"

GARBAGE & GRUNTS
"When did it become acceptable to find garbage in your food or water as long as your server was gracious?
Lunch at R.J. Grunts in Lincoln Park turned out to be one for the books. After finding some debris in our lunch and complaining to Jen the manager, she politely asked if there had been anything wrong with the service or the taste of our food. After carefully examining the mysterious floating object, Jen seemed to think it was fine as long as we had no other complaints. "Um.. Jen, I just took a piece of garbage out of my mouth while having lunch at the restaurant you manage!" She further explained that she spoke to her General Manager and he agreed as well. I was dumbfounded.
Although I know R. J. Grunts to be a fairly good operation, it was my friends first time there.
Needless to say we both instantly lost our appetite.
